Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef, lean

  • 1/2 tsp Basil, dried
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3/4 cup Green bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Parsley, fresh
  • 3/4 cup Red bell pepper
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans Tomatoes, petite
  • 1 Yellow onion chopped (1 cup), small

Canned Goods

  • 1 (14.5) can beef broth

Condiments

  • 1 (15 oz) can Tomato sauce

Pasta & Grains

  • 1 cup White or brown rice, long grain

Baking & Spices

  • 1 Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Oils & Vinegars

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Dairy

  • 1 Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
